Limits woke up one morning and found that he had no place to stay. So he gathered up his things and he went on a search for someone that he could influence and affect.
Limits was a very convincing fellow. He could show you all the reasons why you couldn’t do something. He knew just the right words to say but he also needed the right audience. He was looking for a particular person.
And so, the search began.
He knew this person needed to be at the beginning of a journey. He also knew that this person would most likely be unsure of whether they could reach the goal and would be looking for a sign. Limits had one job, to keep people from achieving their goals.
Now the way limits looked at it, he was just saving the person from a degree of disappointment and hardships. He was just keeping them in a comfortable life, so he was doing them a favor. Limits liked his job and looked forward to doing his job.
Limits knew that most people were just looking for a reason to stop trying. A justification to let them off the hook without feeling guilty or feeling like a failure.
Limits knew how to provide that for those who were trying and found themselves at that cross roads. The point where you must decide to go left or right. One road was to continue and the other would end the journey and let the person go back to their life before they started the goal.
People like to start new things.
They love the feeling and excitement of beginnings. It feels good, but people do not like the hurdles. Sometimes the hurdles crush them and they don’t know how to get back up. Limits knows this is human nature so he is there to try to protect them from this feeling of defeat. He sets limits so that they don’t have to experience all the ups and downs of an ambitious life.
Tap into Your Invincible Power
Limits cannot live with ambitious people.
He doesn’t like them because they never listen to him or take him seriously. On top of that, they have the nerve to succeed and defy his limits. This drives him crazy. How can he get more customers if people are learning to become successful and learning to think big? This is a very big problem for limits. This is why he is looking for someone new to advise.
The last person that he was advising stopped listening. They started reading this pesky book about self-empowerment. This book – Your Invincible Power – was teaching people how to think big and to think without limits.
This was not good for business. How could limits compete with this? If too many people started to learn this, what role would limits play? So limits was on a search. He needed to find the right person that he could hold back and keep in a comfortable and predictable life.
This is his mission. He knows they are out there. He is constantly looking. Searching for his next customer.
The question is, will you be his next customer?
