It can be hard to maintain the same energy level and commitment to the goals you have set when the pressures of everyday life set in.
I use to struggle at times to stay motivated until I learned these techniques I’m going to share with you now.
There are 3 things I do each and everyday to recharge my vision, fuel my ambition and keep me motivated throughout the day.
1. The Future List.
I start my day thinking about all the things I will be able to do as I accomplish the things on my future list. This is a list of the experiences I will have and the things I will do. They’re more than goals. They are destinations. The difference is, a goal is something you are trying to accomplish, but a destination is somewhere you already know you’re going to. As I run through my future list I am motivated to start my day.
2. My Action List.
These are the top 3 things I want to achieve before the end of the day. They’re always actions steps geared to manifest a measurable result. Seldom will they all be the same each day. It can be a small goal like contacting 5 new people on DM. Or it could be setting up a Skype training session with 3 clients. May be attending a meet up and making 3 new connections.
Having these 3 different actions items each day allows me to stay highly motivated on completing each one and help me not get sidetracked as I go. For more on how I manage my time to do this you can read my article Adding Value. 3 Ways to Impress Your Boss
3. Fun is always on the Menu.
Always try to have fun, every single day. Schedule music breaks, listen to a high energy song in between calls or tasks. Interact with people in a joyful and jovial way. It’s what I do because I purposely design my day to have variety, I never live the same day twice.
Just knowing that today could lead me to many different places keeps me motivated to try to navigate it so I get the results I am aiming for.
I stay focused on what I am trying to gain out of each day and in turn it creates a highly productive week. Talk about super empowering, when you look back at all the things you did that week! When you notice all the things you manifested, all the things you completed on the daily list for the week.
You feel immense gratitude for the abilities and knowledge you have in using your skills and good habits to bring about positive change and gain control over your life on a daily basis. This will also leave you feeling highly motivated to repeat this process daily, weekly and monthly as you travel to your future destinations.
