Breaking the Cycle of Fear. Creating the Mindset for Success

Fear. It is the one thing that can stop any great idea; any great opportunity from manifesting.

Fear is born within us from before we can remember and becomes a part of how we function, and how we think. But it is our job to break the cycle of fear. Until we do this, it will be almost impossible to achieve the success that we envision.

There is an exercise that I want you to try. It is an exercise that is designed to help you become ‘The Master of Our Mind’ It is taken from Chapter Two, Changing our Thoughts, from our Book, Your Invincible Power: Open the Door to Unlimited Wealth, Health and Joy.


After this lesson there will be some homework for you to do. In order for this lesson to really work for you, you will need to complete the homework. This is part of our free program, Creating the Mindset for Success.


I really love sharing this exercise because it is one that is fun and challenging at the same time. When I first started doing it I was surprised just how many time the cycle of fear would pop up in my thoughts. It was alarming and made me want to become successful at this exercise right away!


I know you will find it just as impactful as I did. This is an exercise I learned from Pamela Hamilton, my Mom, when we were writing our first book. It was something I never really tried until I read her chapter. In order to break the cycle of fear you will need to start doing this all the time.


The exercise is to replace each negative thought with a positive thought.

Right now start monitoring the thoughts that pop into your mind.  The first step in breaking the cycle of fear is awareness.


Start to notice the thoughts that are ever present in your mind. How many are negative thoughts evoked by fear? How many times do you hear about something happening to someone else and then you try to relate it back you your life? Is fear driving your thoughts?


Each time a negative thought pops up, quickly replace it with a positive thought. I call it. ‘The Best Case Scenario’. Insert a best case scenario into that thought.


As you will start to see, many of our thoughts are fear based and negative when unchecked and unchallenged. As you start to notice and monitor your thoughts you will start to activate a very powerful part of your psyche.


Now there are signs that you can use to help you monitor your thoughts.

Signals that will let you know if you are subconsciously thinking negative. This is a way to take yourself off of autopilot. This is your homework. Read chapter two, Changing our Thoughts in our book, Your Invincible Power: Open the Door to Unlimited Wealth, Health and Joy.

Use these signals to help you monitor your thoughts. Also read chapter one, The Miracle of Us, to gain a deeper understanding of the conscious and subconscious mind. This will allow you to really break the cycle of fear and start to become ‘The Master of our Minds’.
